Leviton 104-05611-2WS 15A Decora Single Pole Illuminated Switch with Ground Questions & Answers
I am installing a Leviton Photoelectric switch and
Something doesn't sound right here. The 5611 series products list themselves as being single-pole products with screw terminals - and you're describing what sounds like a three-way device with wire leads. It almost sounds like the wrong product was put in the box. Regardless...
First of all, I want to make sure that we're replacing a light switch. I am assuming that the two wires are the hot feed, and the switched-hot return to the light fixture. I dont' want to rule out the posssibliity that if, say, a receptacle used to occupy this box, the white white may actually be a neutral - in which case, installing a switch here will cause a short.
Assuming for the time being that it is a standard 3-way switch, of the three wires on the unit, one should be listed as the "common", and the other two as "travellers" - connect the common to one of the two house wires coming from the wall, connect one of the travellers to the other house wire, and place a wire nut on the remaining traveller (unused). If you can't figure out which wire is which, just guess and if it doesn't work, try a different wire combimation - there's only three possible ways to wire it and only one of them won't work.

I have the power source
Disconnect 1 side of light. Wire nut 1 wire from switch to 1 side of wire from light. Wire nut other side from switch to light. You now have a switch inline.

Im replacing a switch to my garbage disposal when
What type of switch are you using? A single pole switch does not have a ground. There will be 2 screws, and it doesnt matter which one you connect the Line (feed) and the load (garbage disposal) too. With the switch disconnected only one wire will be hot.
Hope this helps,
Cheers

My tenant was complaining taht
The three black wire are as follows: One is the hot wire. One feeds the closet light. One feeds the lights for the kithen and bath. Turn off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel and disconnect all three black wires and be sure they aren't touching anything. Turn the power back on and using a test light or meter determine which black wire is live. Turn the power back off and mark the hot wire with a pen, marker, or piece of electrical tape. Connect the wire you marked with a wire nut to one of the other two black wires. Turn the power back on. If the closet light comes on, that is the wire that you want to connect to one of the terminals of the switch. If the lights in the kitchen and bath now work, leave these wires connected together and connect the third wire to one of the switch terminals. Turn the power back off. While the hot wire and the wire for the kitchen might have both connected to the switch terminal, this is no longer allowed by code. Instead take another piece of wire of the same type and connect it to the hot wire and the kitchen wire with the wire nut and connect the other end to the other switch terminal. There should be a green ground screw terminal attached to the metal frame of the switch. Using a green or bare copper wire connect this to the ground wires in the switch box. Reinstall the switch and turn the power back on. Everything should be good now. If the fuse blows or the breaker trips, replace the switch.

We just started getting shocked when we turn on
Angela
It sounds like a static electricity issue to me, and if so there are many products on the market to eliminate this. The most effective are anti-static carpet spray's that can be purchased from a local carpet dealer or supply. You can research other remedies on the web.
Tip: You can create an inexpensive anti-static spray by mixing laundry fabric softener with water 50/50 into a spray bottle. Lightly mist this spray on carpets and other surfaces to prevent static buildup.
Hope this helps
Good luck...

Connecting Leviton Decora light switch.
At the switch you have a feed wire coming in this brings in power which originates in the electric panel. You also have a feed or feeds goings out to other lts or switches, this you seem to have on the switch. instead of the closet switch loop.undo all the wires. find the only hot this is the one wire you can touch to the others and make different lts come on i reccomend getting a electric tester to do this. FInd the wire that goes to the closet lt. Once your sure put it to the side. wirenut all other wires together with the hot wire. this makes all other switches independantly hot. connect the hot to the switch and the closet lt to switch. I HOPE THIS MAKES SOME SENSE TO YOU . let me know if i can help

I cannot turn off light that uses a Leviton Cat /no 16400, DHC switch not can i find the receiver box that controls the lights
A Leviton DHC receiver device can look like any other switch or receptacle so if you didn't install it or not provided a map then you'll need to locate it.
Likely the wall switch that originally controlled the light was replaced with DHC device and paired with the 16400 at another location. If you can't identify it, then removing face plates and devices may be the only practical method to locate it.
If your not comfortable with removing devices safely, hire an electrician.
