Hi,The voice time/day stamp on the answer system needs to be set, this is true even if you have Caller ID. The day of the week will still need to be set manually.

The phone will dial the number but doesn't ring
it probably has been damaged in someway for the cost of repair you could prob get a new one,but also check that cables are not damaged,try a new cable first before any other damage is presumed

Even though you phone supports call waiting, I think you will find you will need to have the service enabled on your line by your service provider. If you have already done this have you tried a different phone with 'R' button (used to access extra services). Another thing to try if service is on your line is to check on base of phone to see what setting the TBR (timed break recall) switch is set to and try switching to opposite to see if it makes difference? This controls how the phone reacts to commands using the R button by way of sending tones down your line.(I know if your in UK it should be set to TBR). Hope that helps?

You need to dry it out completely. A few centrifugal swings around your shoulder might remove much of the water. Then try one of these drying methods: Place it on a register or AC vent for a day or so might be the best way to get it dry.
Afterwards, (if trying to operate it didn't short out a component,) it might work again.
We have CD130, which is a four unit cordless
Reinitializing the base and then relinking the base to each handset may be necessary. You may have done these procedures when you first setup the phones. If the owners manual does not cover this procedure, you can try Philips technical support.
