Hitachi NR65AK Round Head 1-1/2-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Positive Placement Nailer - Page 4 Questions & Answers
My hitachi 1 1/4 brad nailer is leaking air out of
You have broken or damaged o-ring(s) inside the gun. You can take it to a service center to get it rebuilt or do it yourself. I don't know which model you have but Hitachi doesn't make very many rebuild kits. You have to find a parts site like
http://www.ereplacementparts.com or go through Hitachi to get the o-rings you need. I recommend if you replace one, replace all of them. If one went bad the others usually aren't far behind.
Type of nailer nr83aa 3.25
Fixing air nailers isn't hard, if you know how. Most of the problems with air leaks are due to broken, missing or out-of-place o-rings.
If you decide to do it yourself you can go to
www.ereplacementparts.com and search on your model number to see a good breakdown of your gun to see what you are getting into and to figure out what o-rings you need. One word of caution, if you are going to replace any of the o-rings it is usually advisable to replace all of them and lube them up well with a very light grease before reassembly. Unfortunately Hitachi doesn't make rebuild kits so you have to order each part individually. The above website is pretty good on their parts prices but you can also use the site to get the part numbers you need and search the internet for better prices.
If you want a service center to fix it or if it's still under warranty, go to
www.hitachipowertools.com and use the Service & Support tab to find a service center in your area.
Trigger saftey is not working press trigger it
DO NOT USE TOOL in this condition. You have a problem with a jammed safety or malfunctioning trigger. Did the safety get bent so that it will not reset or is the spring missing. I would look to see if the safety is holding up on the latch in the trigger area and go from there.
How do I replace or
a manual would come with the tool when you bought it only way to tell is to take it apart and check if one is bad the others will soon follow use only a non detergent oil to lube it .If it happens to get a dent in the body it will cause the inner cylinder to bind and not be able to move and if that happens the tool is junk
I have one Hitachi 9

What is the largest demo hammer that the sds floor
Worked at a tool rental store while attending college and learned some tricks from the old-timers. To extend the life of flexible blades such as the one used on floor tile removers, use a second shorter blade on top of the longer blade (double blades). The shorter backup blade tends to absorb the extra force making the longer blade last longer before breaking. The length of the shorter backup blade is trial and error, however start with about 3/4 to one inch back from longer. The wide chipper bits tends to break also. The wider the bit, faster to break. No matter what size hammer. Has to do with the bit hitting the stop on the forward motion. Some older chipper hammers that had rubber or spring loaded bit stopper would prevent wide chipper from breaking so fast. Good luck
Motor runs but doesnt turn
be sure your belts are tight enough .check if your pump is not jammed.try to turn it by hand with the power off.
Model ec 510 just won't
I just looked a the owners manual, did not see a reset, try taking the plastic cover off and see it the motor has a button on it to reset the motor, the motor may be damaged also, always try to use a direct connection to the wall outlet for power, Hitachi air compressors dont like extension cords.
I have a hitachi NR 83A2 framing nailer with a
by jammed I take it you mean a nail has jammed the driver? If that is the case there is really no easy to unjam it. But unplug the air hose and turn tool upside down and wearing safety glasses and gloves you can try and take a punch smaller than the nose piece and try hitting the driver to unjam nail. If it is another problem please let me know and I will try and help more.. Sometimes we used to have to remove the nose and heat and it goes on but hopefully it is not that bad
I want to buy a head rebuild kit, for Hitachi coil
I buy most of my parts from
www.toolpartsdirect.com. The headvalve is the only part that wears in the head. It will leak when the rubber/vinyl seat material begins to crack(new models use rubber). If the head valve looks ok with no cracks then no problem in head. If you are having problems with the gun please post again describing issue. Good luck
