GMC Power Equipment GMC Syclone 1650A Ultra Quiet & Oil-Free Air Compressor Questions & Answers
I need a head valve seat for central pneumatic 21 degree angle framing nailer model 60828 also need headvalve seat for 34 degree angle finish nailer 68020
I have not been able to purchase replacement parts for these nail guns , however, have repaired them using parts from Bostitch framers and or just make the part. If the seal fits over the top of the cylinder, then try using seal from Bostitch framer part #N70155 fits a bit tight but works. Heat with a hair dryer to soften and install. If the seat is incorporated within the head valve, just dig it out and replace it with liquid two part urethane. Just mix and pour it in. After cleaning out the old seal, place head valve on level surface and pour in the mixed urethane till slightly over full to give the seal a nice crown. The finish nailer might also be repaired using other brand of seals. Remove the old part and take it to service center for a possible match. Good luck with your repair.
What oil should I use in Handiair H8/25 Compressor?
Many air compressors use a mineral blend or a synthetic oil, such as synthetic hydrocarbon, polyol ester or polyglycol. It is important to use a lubricant specifically rated for air compressors; do not use a general-purpose motor oil used for automotive or other purposes.
Read your user manual for more information.
My EverStart 750A's air compressor will not work. Ive only used the air compressor one time. I hit the on switch, and all hear is a small pin flipping sound and that is it. Any thoughts?
If your EverStart 750A air compressor is not working properly, there could be several potential causes for the issue you're experiencing. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to identify and resolve the problem:
- Check the Power Source: Ensure that the air compressor is properly connected to a power source and that the power switch is in the "on" position. If the compressor is battery-powered, make sure the battery is fully charged or replace it with a new one if necessary.
- Inspect the Air Hose: Check the air hose for any kinks, twists, or blockages that may be preventing air from flowing properly. Straighten out any kinks and ensure that the hose is securely connected to both the compressor and the tire valve stem.
- Verify the Tire Pressure Setting: Some air compressors, including portable ones like the EverStart 750A, have a preset maximum tire pressure setting. Make sure that the pressure setting is appropriate for the tire you are inflating and adjust it if necessary.
- Listen for Unusual Noises: If you hear a small pin flipping sound but the compressor does not start, it could indicate a problem with the compressor motor or internal components. Listen for any other unusual noises or vibrations that may help identify the source of the issue.
- Check for Obstructions: Open the compressor's access panel and inspect the interior for any debris, foreign objects, or obstructions that may be blocking the compressor motor or impeding its operation. Clear any debris and ensure that the compressor's moving parts are free to operate.
- Consult the User Manual: Refer to the user manual or instructions provided with your EverStart 750A air compressor for troubleshooting tips and recommended maintenance procedures. The manual may also contain information on common issues and solutions specific to your model of compressor.
If you've tried these troubleshooting steps and are still unable to resolve the issue with your EverStart 750A air compressor, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer's customer support or take the compressor to a certified repair technician for further diagnosis and repair.
Cannot find Thermostat valve in our Atlas copco GA15ff , I check filter housing cannot find where it is fixed
Atlas Copco compressors typically utilize a thermostat valve or a thermostat switch to regulate the temperature and ensure optimal performance. However, the specific design and components may vary depending on the model and configuration of the compressor.
If you are unable to locate the thermostat valve in your Atlas Copco GA15ff compressor but have found two thermostat switches, it's possible that the compressor uses a different mechanism for temperature control.
Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue with the dewpoint temperature:
- Check the Thermostat Switches: Since you've found two thermostat switches, ensure that they are functioning correctly. These switches may be responsible for monitoring different temperature parameters within the compressor.
- Inspect for Malfunctions: If the thermostat switches appear to be functioning properly, inspect other components of the compressor for malfunctions or damage that could affect temperature regulation. This includes checking for leaks, clogs, or faulty sensors.
- Consult the Manual: Refer to the user manual or technical documentation for your Atlas Copco GA15ff compressor. The manual should provide detailed information about the components, including the thermostat valve or switches, and troubleshooting steps for temperature-related issues.
- Contact Atlas Copco Support: If you're still unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Atlas Copco's customer support or technical service department for assistance. They can provide guidance and support based on the specific model and configuration of your compressor.
- Consider Professional Service: If the issue persists and you're unable to identify or resolve the problem on your own, it may be necessary to enlist the help of a qualified technician or compressor service provider. They can conduct a thorough inspection and diagnosis of the compressor to identify and address any underlying issues.
