Whirlpool 5"x36" White Bathroom Drop-in Bathtub Spa Jet - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Jacuzzi outdoor bath tub i have there is power but
Find the plug for the pump and plug it in ( tub full of water), if the pump works, the problem is in the contol box or switch. if the pump/motor has a plastic tube coming out of a black box, and the pump still does not work when plugged in, it is most likely the air switch connected to that plastic tube on the pump. the switch is avaliable online and not to hard to replace if you are mechanically inclined.
I've been told by a plumber that the tubing to the jet is leaking
You could try Plumber's epoxy stick or paste if the leak is not to big!
The stick has the resin & hardener already in it. The paste you would have to mix equal amount together. I would recommend the paste because it would probably stick to the surface better for you application! Available at Lowes.
I have a 21 year
The switch is located there to comply with the electrical code. I recommend that you leave it as is.
How to clean jet on whirlpool tub
first of all you need to be draining the tub completely and removing any bath mats or items from inside. Fill the tub with hot water, ensuring that the jets are covered. You can use white vinegar, 2-3 cups of white vinegar directly to the water in the tub. Turn on the whirlpool system and run it for 15-20 minutes. While the jets are running, use a soft-bristled brush to scrub the jet openings and the interior walls of the tub. Drain the Tub: Refill the tub with clean water and run the jets again for another 10-15 minutes to rinse out any remaining cleaning solution. This should help. This is what I did with mine
