Hey, You have a "Mildew" issue. Just like leaving clothes in the washer too long before putting them into the dryer. If you read your iron's manual, it is recommended to use "Distilled" water...not tap water. Tap water has impurities...Distilled water does not. Here's the fix...MAKE SURE YOU ARE HOME WHEN YOU DO THIS! Get distilled water (From Grocery Store) Mix 1/2 cup distilled water with 1/2 cup vinegar. Put this into your iron and leave it on. To help it along, push the "Steam" button frequently. You can do this several times...the acid in the vinegar will clean out the residue. Once this is done, fill the iron with water, add a couple of drops of lemon juice and you'll be good to go. I know this to be fact...just did it myself : )

Only if you check up with Rowenta this part will be available but if you can search around in service shops you may be able to salvage one from a coil damaged iron that was discarded.
If not fabricate the top with a fibreglass or plastic repair shop and it can be doe to suit the top after a paint job.(If broken use good glue and then paint on top)

There is an issue with the irons thermostat. You will need to buy a new clothing iron.

To open the Rowenta Superpress 050 iron, you should first unplug the iron from the power source for safety. Then, locate the water reservoir button on the top of the iron. To try and seal the water leak will possibly render the appliance dangerous. I would speak to Rowenta and ask the question. They may well extend the warranty if you suggest it wasn't used for say a few weeks after purchase etc.

We’re u able to fix this ? I am facing similar issues after my wife forgot to shut it off and the auto shut off might have triggered but now it doesn’t Heat up even though I the light comes on

RCD or MCB that is tripping? If MCB the iron is overloading the circuit, usually a short circuit and is often related to the power cord. If RCD power is escaping from the circuit to ground and is usually caused by an internal water leak.
