Red light turns on when I plug in but goes out

The red normally indicate that the reservoir is low on water, if the reservoir has water you should have a problem on the solenoid valve, I’m jus trying to help I don’t know for shore but if it is the solenoid valve should have a rubber membrane inside try to blow or **** it should be closed.

No steam

What you need to do is clean out the steam orifice. (The tiny hole the steam comes out) When water is turned to steam it leaves behind mineral deposits, (Iron, Calcium) Especially if you have "hard" water in your area. Here's what you do. Add some CLR, (Calcium,Lime Remover) to the water you put in the iron, let it sit a while, laying flat, then drain the water out. You want to get the nozzle, to, holding the iron upside down, try to immerse the steam nozzle for a couple of seconds in the CLR or drip some directly on it. You can buy this product in most stores. It works well and fast. Dip your showerhead in it too, you'll be suprised at how it improves water flow. It is safe as long as you follow the instructions.

My iron is spitting water when i put steam on???

It is overfilled with water. There's right measure for
your iron. It is specified in your manual. If no manual,
just fill it halfway and set your thermoswitch at a little
over half also.

MY ROWENTA IRONING CORD GETS HOT

This is probably caused by a connection inside the iron which is arcing. Should be disassembled and all connections inspected for heat damage. Repair connections as appropriate.

Suddenly began leaking and overheating, such as

The iron started leaking from front and back. took iron back to Wal Mart and got another iron and it did the same thing. I cannot use the iron because it is hard to hold the steam almost burn your hands because it leaks a lot all over my cloths . I was so disgusted with the iron until I just put it in the corner and bought another iron from wal mart. I did not know if they would take the iron back , because I had it for a bout (3) months.
