New replacement in-line heater (C3B54P0-3002AU0) inop.

Bath tub heaters will only maintain the water temperature in the bath. They will only heat the water approximately 1-2 degrees an hour. Whatever water temperature you start with is what you will be able to maintain. There is a red indicator light on the front of each heater indicating whether or not there is power to the unit when the tub is full of water and the water pump is turned on. If there is a red light on then it has power to it and is working. This heater will never feel warm to the touch. There are three different styles of Bath Heaters available.
  • Tee Heater - installs on the discharge fitting on the pump
  • In-line Pressure - installs anywhere in the plumbing line before any jet.
  • In-line Vacuum Heater - installs before the suction of the pump
If the heater you purchased is installed in the wrong place it will not operate. Rod US Parts Center

I have the sa9592-02 bubble

it sounds to me like the air button may not be working. You may have a small hole in the bellows which is the part that sends the air down the air tubing to the air switch in the motor. If there is not enough air being pushed down to the switch it will not activate the motor. You need a new air button or a new air switch in the motor. Pull the pump out and plug it into an outlet. take a straw and blow into the air switch while the pump is plugged in. it the motor turns on then you know you need an air button on the top of the tub. If the motor does NOT turn on then you need an air switch for the motor.

Wont start heres a clicking sound

This is often the capacitor charge on the side of the electric motor pump gone bad (which requires the whole motor to be replaced). check power to the motor with a volt meter. if you have power when you select the pump on, and no jet activity in the tub, then you have a bad motor.

E06 on newly installed maax calla

E06 is the water sensor, The tub will not operater if there is not enough water in it. If the water level is not the problem, it is most likely a bad water level sensor.

MAXX code E01, jets don't work

well first of all i have to assume that this tub is equipped with jet's on the floor and lights,if not then there's no reason for it those buttons to light up, now if it is equipped with these features and your getting a error code all this means is that this tub need to Re Configured to run this type of system, this is something a tech needs to look at because you wouldn't be getting error codes if the tub was configured wrong the reason your getting error codes is because something isn't plugged in correctly at the control box and the computer detected a fault.

Maax bathtub jet just hums but does not turn on.

This usually indicates the pump is seized or has an obstruction in the impeller. The humming sound is from the electric motor, if left on it will trip the circuit breaker

I have a Pearl Maax corner hot tub which was new in 2006. It will turn on okay, but once the hot tube warms up it will not turn off. I then have to trip the outlet to turn it off. What is the fix?

Does that model use an air switch to turn it off and on? You may have a loss of air compression in the switch linkage somewhere. It's not uncommon for those to fail after a few hundred compressions, especially if they were impacted sharply.

Rotten egg smell in bathroom closet?

I can't tell about your water supply from this posting. Is it possible you have iron or sulfur in your water that only shows up in the hot water? If so, you may not have drained the water heater often enough to prevent problems. Usually, draining it about every 6 months will do it. To drain the water heater, turn off the energy source (electricity or gas), turn off the inlet valve, and connect a water hose to the drain at the bottom of the tank. Open the drain ****. Some don't have handles and require a flat blade screwdriver to open them. Run the drain hose down the driveway so the hot water from the tank doesn't kill your lawn. By the time it reaches the street, it should be cooled off enough not to hurt anything. If it's been a while, you may want to weight down a trash bag at the end of the hose so the water and sediment coming out don't stain your concrete driveway. Let the water from the end of the hose dissipate over the trash bag. It takes about 30 minutes to drain a 40 gallon water heater. It goes faster to carefully open the overflow pop off valve to let air in while it's draining. When it's drained, close off the drain spigot, open the incoming water and when it is quiet again (full), turn the energy back on. You may have to relight the pilot or click the igniter until it flashes one time to let you know it's working. You should have hot water again in about 30 minutes. If the smell in the drain persists, some baking soda and vinegar flush will normally take care of that.
