Air Switch Repair It sounds like you have a bad air switch located in your motor. The air switch is what the air hose connects to on the back of the motor or on the box on top of the motor. The other end of the air hose is connected to the air button on the lip of the tub. This is a latching air switch and when you push the air button it latches to send power to the motor. When the air button is pushed again it opens the latch in the air switch and stops power going to the motor shutting it off. If your pump is just humming this is an indication of a bad motor. You will need to provide the name of the pump and a model number to the supplier so they can match up the exact replacement for you so you won't have to re-plumb to put it back in. Rod US Parts Center

The breaker the manual is referring to will be the main circuit breaker at the panel. If the system is not running the purge cycle as it is supposed to and turning the power on and off does not reset the control box then it is likely that the control box has a bad part in the circuity and should be replaced. I asked the same question to the tech guy at customer service and he said no, because the water detector switch is actually a density switch, so the temperature really doesn't matter. The tub just has to be filed with water.

wire an extra thermostat to it..have it control the heat

an inline heater does not heat the water it only maintains the water temperature that is in the bath. try filling the bath with the required water temperature and see if the heater maintains that temperature. good luck

Has water got near or on the connections to the panel? Look for any signs of water below it or mould on the floor etc.
