Low water pressure from my shower.

You probably have a water flow reducer in the shower head. It is a rubber disk with a few holes in it. Just remove it and put the shower head back on. They are installed at the factory to save our environment. (Mine are all removed)

K-1357 kohler whirlpool tub there is leaking only when the tub is filled and drained. when taking showers there are no leaks 3yrs old

Overflow? Seal around drain may be good enough for shower, but leaks with a little more pressure from the filled tub. Filled tub may flex the tub and drain components. What about the overflow. I bet some water is going over, but it isn't used for showers. Double check. Paper towels tied in stratigic locations always help me find a leak. Leak makes the towel soak up water nearby. It's most wet at the point of leak.

No water comes out of

Hello,

Based on gas prices, often gas hot water heaters can be a more cost-effective option than electric models and preferred by many homeowners. However, gas hot water heater models can have their own set of problems that differ from electric versions. You will not find it difficult to perform some basic troubleshooting to resolve an issue with a gas hot water heater.

Instructions

  1. 1 Determine if the gas supply has been shut off. No gas will cause the hot water heater to stop producing hot water. Turning the gas supply back on should be your first troubleshooting technique.
  2. 2 Check the pilot light. If you are experiencing no hot water, the pilot light of your gas hot water heater may have distinguished. Turn off the gas source and place a match over the pilot light tube to relight it.
  3. 3 Adjust the thermostat of your hot water heater. If you find that the hot water runs out quickly or does not get hot enough, you may need to set the temperature of the gas hot water heater higher. Typically, set the dial between the medium and hot setting for adequate hot water.
  4. 4 Inspect the gas hot water heater. The burner orifice and flue can both become clogged on a hot water heater. Turn off the gas and use a wire brush to clean out any debris that may have become lodged in these sections.
  5. 5 Ensure that all the burner access covers are in place. If the pilot light will not stay lit, it could be due to exposure to drafts.
  6. 6 Flush the tank. Certain deposits can build up over time when using a gas hot water heater which can cause the tank to produce a banging noise. To flush it, turn the heater off and open the pressure relief valve and drain valve on the water heater. Use a hose to flush water through the system until the hose runs clear.

Thanks.

How to remove large gasket from Kohler toilet that leaks

You will need to remove the tank by locating the long screws on each side of the water outflow outlet. Take those bolts out and then you can lift the tank up and thus you will access to the large gasket.

Our local housing inspector says a toilet fill valve must be anti-siphon. I have Kohler k-9262 fill valves in my bathrooms. Are these anti-siphon models?

the fill valve is under constant mains pressure so it will not siphon out. However if there is a problem you can buy a non-return valve from your local hardware/plumber shop and fit it in the line between the cistern tap and the cistern

We have a almost 4.5 year old k-4709 is it worth fixing dripping in the back of the seat middle. could my handyman repair

I would try to repair only if you have the knowledge to do so. It can be tricky and may not be permanent. Weigh the cost of a new one vs repairing it. Toilets generally last a lifetime other than the moving parts.
