HP Deskjet 3512 Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner Questions & Answers
Hp desk jet 3512 making banging noise on start up and say cartridge jam
Probably a CARRIAGE jam, not likely a cartridge jam. Paper dust and stray ink can cause the end of carriage sensor(s) to malfunction. This will cause the carriage to crash into the stops. Sometimes cleaning the sensors can solve this. Other times the crash damages the carriage drive gears and basically requires the printer to be replaced. Repair is not really an option as these things are so inexpensive they are manufactured as throw-away items.
Setup eprint
Hi,
To see if a printer is installed:
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)
Tap or click PC and devices, and then tap or click Devices.
If your printer is installed, it should appear under Printers.
If your printer isn't listed, tap or click Add a device, and then select your printer to install it.

Setting Up New Printer and
HP Printer Support
Thanks,
How can I print sideways?
Instead of hitting PRINT, there should be an option listed as PRINTER SETTINGS or better yet, PREVIEW. You should see an option for landscape or portrait and various other settings! Hope this helps! :-)
Cannot detect allignment page
cannot detect alignment page- two possibilities-
1: hen the printer prints the alignment you can physically see the lines and colour shades being printed onto the sheet- this should then be scanned with the electronic eye built onto the carriage assembly- usually one automatic operation- if you can see a good clear image printed ( blocks/lines.boxes) and the printer cannot see the image it stands to reason the electronic eve ( spectrophotometer) is not reading the image correctly or at all, if however there are 'missing' areas of the calibration print then the problem lies with the printing side and I would recommend cleaning/ replacing the printheads as required
Can not get the wifi working
the wifi board might be faulty on the printer or check the router. if a laptop can connect to the router then it is the printer that is faulty. send the printer to a service partner of HP so that a technician can have a look at the wifi board.
