Mine had the same problem today. I found the drip tray under the screwed on panels in the freezer was full. There is an evaporative tray above the compressor in back, and feeding that was a drain pipe that was blocked with crud. Removing and cleaning the cap made it flow freely again. Hopefully that fixes it.

Sounds like freezer drain is plugged or frozen

check door seals for freezer and fridge. If ok, check frost level in the freezer. Ice present on the back of the freezer panel (evap cover) remove evap cover and check for defrost problem by ohming out heater and defrost thermostat. If both check ok, then test the defrost timer. If this unit new and covered under wty, call a&e factory svc at 1-800-905-9505 for a free repair. consult your owners manual for wty details.

yes you must evacuate the system first of course the use the replacement 414b refrigerant---i would keep the system on a strong vaccum (50 or higher microns) to get all the moisture out and change the filter drier

Check to see if frosted on back wall of freezer . If so the defrost is not working.

I have the sam eproblem but my freezer is very cool, but the fridge wont get cold, it is just chilled, my food still goes bad and the water and soda is room tem..this doesnt make sense!

on this model there are no fans. make sure that the condensor is clean. It might be the t-stat
