Sharp R-316FS Microwave Oven Questions & Answers
Hello
My name is Mohamed.
I have
Door catches.
One of the latches may be damaged or
misaligned and is not lifting the other latch clear of the housing.
Remove from any power source, remove the cover of the cabinet.
Slacken off the clamp mechanism and ease the clamp over the guide to
allow the door to open. When the door levers are in place, the door
may be easily adjusted by slackening off the screws that clamp the
door catch/actuators in place whilst holding the door closed and then
tightening the screws. The rear of the door may be adjusted by
slackening the lower door hinge screws and adjusting as required.
I
hope that helps.

You have burned micro switches in the door safety interlock system. I have answered this question dozens of times here - i am surprised this answer didnt come up when you searched your problem.
There are two reasons for the heat to not come on when everything else works ... three actually, the third is expensive.
1) the capacitor has failed - dont try to service this unless and until you understand the dangers associated with this repair.
2) burned safety door switches
3) failed magnatron (they rarely fail)
remove the cover - find the door switch. Test them. With the door closed, the switches should read closed. If they read open (because they are burned because you open the door when the oven is operating) the oven doesn't know the door is closed so it will not turn the mangatron on - no magnatron - no heat.
I hope this informaation helps you ...
