My smart water pilot is on but it is not heating the water tank

GE is Rheem.Models change frequently.Copy following link for troubleshoot resources by type of gas control valve.http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-troubleshoot-gas-water-heater.html#intelliventNewer water heaters require frequent air intake cleaning. To do this with Rheem requires removal of combustion parts, and then air compressor to blow out screen. It is probably time to have a plumber give water heater a catch-up on recommended maintained, such as checking gas pressure, bleeding gas line, checking vent draft, clean combustion parts, clean air intake, check if gas control is working correctly. Gxrlqr filter leaks

MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU REPLACE THE FILTER IT IS IN THE SAME ORDER AS THE ONE YOU REMOVED OR THAT IT IS THE SAME MODEL TYPE REPLACEMENT , I WOULD TRY TO TURN IT AROUND FIRST , A THIN WRAP OF "WHITE PLUMBERS TAPE" , AROUND THE SCREW TOP INNER SEAL MAY CORRECT THE LEAK , ABOUT THE FILTER , WELL , IT MAY JUST BE SIMPLY IN THE REVERSE ORDER , TRY TO FILP THAT OVER , AND WHEN YOU RESEAL THE CAP ON THE FILTER MAKE SURE THAT THE SEAL IS ON PROPERLY , APPLY PLUMBERS TAPE ONCE AROUND , AND *"BEFORE YOU TIGHTEN IT" , GENTLY , REVERSE THE CAP BACKWARDS , SLOWLY , UNTIL YOU FEEL IT "SEAT " PROPERLY , "THEN" YOU MAY TRY TO RE-TIGHTEN IT . THIS SHOULD REMEDY YOUR LEAK , IF IT CONTINUES MAKE SURE THEN THAT YOU HAVE THE CORRECT REPLACEMENT FILTER MODEL FOR YOUR PARTICULAR ITEM . HOPE THIS HELPS YOU . NOW GO FIX IT ! GOOD LUCK .

I have no hot water in my home i can not locate

The reset button is located on the top thermostat, on the heater you will see a acess panel with screws in it to remove the thermostat and element is behind this panel. Once removed the top thermostat should have a red button to press to reset heater. If it resets then wait for a little time for hot water. If this doesn't work then it could be the elements are in need of changing.

I just bought a GE

You already got everything right.

Green for ground; Red is hot and Black is also hot wire.

Then all you need is the 30 amp size breaker.

Good product you got there dear.

Remember to rate this solution/ suggestion.

Cheers.

The faucet for the system

yes you can order one from G E if the system is under 2 years old you cab get the by pass valve for free. To remove the valve pull the black locking clips and then the valve pulls right out. Make sure you turn off the water before you do anything, Also make sure you check the flow. It goes in as to the water flow.

Should take 20 mins. to do the change out, But as to your question I have not seen a true repair kit.
I guess there are so many o ring it was safer to just do the whole devise

Thanks So much and best of luck

That is what is called a purge valve. It removes the Air from the filter housing when you press and hold it until just water comes out.

Water seems to be leaking from the top lid of my

Make sure any water valves (Cold or Hot) for water heater are not leaking first. Gate valves may leak at the packing nut over time and drip on top of tank. If water is leaking from the top of the water heater itself the tank is corroded and water heater will need to be replaced.

Canisters on my ge smart water filtration system

Make sure the water is turned off to system. Open the faucet to system to drain any water and keep the faucet turned on to keep pressure off filter housings.
1.Use the wrench to take housings off.
2. If they still won't budge take a small 2x4 block of wood and hammer, set the block of wood on the RIB for the housing and tap with hammer.
3. Change the o-rings in both housings, lubricate with silicone lube and lubricate the threads on housings with silicone also.
3. Rinse housings with small amount of bleach and clean thoroughly.
4. Replace filters and housings.
5. IMPORTANT: Only tighten housings by hand. NEVER tighten housings with wrench.
