Try running the hot water in the sink while you have the shower. If the water in the shower stays hot, then the problem is not enough flow through the water heater to keep the heater running. I am guessing that the master bath is further away from the water heater than the guest bath. If not I would check the shower nozzle in the master bath to see if it is clogged a bit or if it is a water saver nozzle because this will slow down the water volume and then cause the water heater to shut off the heat.

I have the rheem pronto in one of my rentals and
3 items possibly:# 1) has that gas company turned off the gas lately to do some work?,and then re-fired the water heater after the work was completed? if so,check the temperature setting on the unit,as most gas companies upon re-start of gas appliances on their line will just set them to LOW,so as not to have an insurance issue with a scalding problem(from someone setting it TOO HIGH) if set above LOW temperature./ # 2) it could be limed up in the bottom and not have the capacity anymore to heat the full capacity of the unit due to this issue & needs shutting down and draining and a fresh re-fill. / #3) if the unit won't fire after the pilot has been lit(held down to keep lit) and then turned to a heat setting from pilot, you can have a defective thermocouple temperature sensor in the flame not letting the gas valve open fully to heat the unit

Just installede and it won't fire up
Hi. Often, when initially hooked up the gas has not filled the line leading to the water heater. Open up the connection where the gas line is connected to the water heater just a crack until you smell gas. Then close the connection tight once again and go through the steps to light it. J.
PS if you still can't get it call your gas provider as they have a free service whereby they send a trained tech. out to fire it up initially.

Only heats water to 1oo degrees and temp on remote
I just changed mine today with help from Rheem support as the manual had a typo error.
You should be able to increse to 120 max as default. However if you want to change to 140, you will have to perform the following as detailed in the manual ...
- Turn off the power.
- Remove the cover.
- There is a dip switch on the controller board. Flip dip switch #4 to "ON". Your remotw will start flashing.
- Press SW2 on the controller board for at lease a couple of seconds (The manual states SW1 which is incorrect)
- Flip dip swich #4 back to "OFF"
- close cover
- Turn on heater ... you should be able to adjust up to 140.
