Fusl pump not pumping

It is actually a 'pulse' rather than a vacuum. The pressure in the crankcase goes up and down with piston movement. If you can get it to run by filling the carb float bowl manually, the pressure will pulse when the engine runs. period. Unless the seals are totally gone, and then it would leak a lot of oil. I'd bet on the pump having gummy check valves or a blown diaphragm. You may be able to get a repair kit depending on model and vintage.

Cub Cadet 1050 2014 model. The gas pedal locks in the down position until engaging the break.

If the gas pedal on your 2014 Cub Cadet 1050 model is locking in the down position until the brake is engaged, there may be an issue with the mower's safety interlock system. This system is designed to prevent accidental engagement of the blades when the operator is not in control. Check for any debris or obstructions around the pedal mechanism and the brake system. Additionally, inspect the safety interlock switches near the brake pedal for proper function. If the issue persists, it's recommended to consult the owner's manual for troubleshooting steps or seek assistance from a qualified Cub Cadet service professional to ensure safe and proper operation.

Cub cadet chipper shredder starter coil is locked - will not pull

Recoil starter is locked?Remove spark plug to be sure engine hasn't hydrolocked with fuel and/or check crankcase oil level. If excessively high oil level then likely crankcase and cylinder is full of fuel from a stuck carburetor fuel inlet needle valve. If cylinder is clear of fuel/oil then remove recoil starter and see if recoil is functional and engine will rotate by hand.

We have a 1986 Cub Cadet Hydro 1210 that won't go forward!

If your 1986 Cub Cadet Hydro 1210 is experiencing difficulty moving forward but works fine in reverse even after changing the transmission filter and fluid, there could be a few potential reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem: 1. **Check Drive Belt:** The drive belt is responsible for transferring power from the engine to the transmission. A worn or damaged drive belt can affect forward movement. Inspect the drive belt for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. If the belt is in poor condition, consider replacing it. 2. **Check Tension of Drive Belt:** Ensure that the drive belt is properly tensioned. A loose drive belt can lead to slipping and difficulty in forward movement. Adjust the tension according to the manufacturer's specifications. 3. **Inspect Linkage and Connections:** Examine the linkage and connections between the control lever, transmission, and the drive system. Loose or misaligned linkage can result in improper engagement of gears, affecting forward movement. 4. **Hydrostatic Transmission Issues:** Since your Cub Cadet Hydro 1210 uses a hydrostatic transmission, there could be issues with the hydrostatic unit itself. Check for any signs of leaks, damaged hoses, or worn components in the hydrostatic transmission system. 5. **Transmission Oil Level and Quality:** Ensure that the transmission oil level is correct and that you're using the recommended type of oil. Poor-quality or incorrect transmission oil can lead to performance issues. 6. **Air in the Hydraulic System:** If there's air trapped in the hydraulic system, it can cause issues with the hydrostatic transmission. Bleed the hydraulic system to remove any air bubbles. 7. **Transmission Pulley and Sheaves:** Check the transmission pulley and sheaves for wear or damage. If these components are not functioning properly, they can affect the movement of the drive belt. 8. **Check for Obstructions:** Inspect the underside of the mower deck and the drive system for any debris, obstructions, or objects that might be interfering with the forward movement. 9. **Professional Inspection:** If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it might be a more complex problem requiring the expertise of a professional technician. They can perform a more in-depth diagnosis of the hydrostatic transmission system and identify any underlying issues. Keep in mind that working with mechanical and hydraulic systems requires knowledge and expertise. If you're not comfortable performing these checks and repairs yourself, it's recommended to consult a qualified technician who has experience with Cub Cadet or similar equipment.

Cub cadet blowing fuses when engaging the PTO. LT1554 starts and runs until engaging the blades.

If it is blowing fuses my experience is you have a short in a switch or wires. When you put in the pto it blows the fuse. That would lead me to think the electrical short has something to do with the PTO safety switch, wire or circuit.. I am posting this link it is not your tractor but it demonstrates the safety switches on lawn tractor and shows his pto safety switch. Your issue should be in the pto safety switch or wiring circuit. Might be something like cut or wire with insulation stripped back touching a ground. Switch could be shorted.

Sprayed water from garden hose to clean off deck only. Mower will crank over but not start. Cub Cadet LTX1042

You got water in the electrics. It is the spark that is the issue not the spark PLUG, fuel and carburetor. Leave it outside in the sun for a day or in the garage for a week and it will dry out. Or WaterDisplacement(formula)40 is a great product if you can find where the electrics got wet.

There is also a safety switch for each of control arms, they both have to be in the neutral position. You may have to adjust the arms. Are you checking the resistance at the switches?
