Seconds hand not moving

The roles haven't been reversed. The seconds hand for normal timekeeping is the small one and the chronograph timer seconds hand is the large one. The reason for that is that it is much easier to determine the precise second with the larger hand. It working exactly as it should. If you like having the large second hand moving all the time you will not hurt the watch by leaving it running. All chronographs work this way. Nice watch - wear it well!

Why isn't the second hand on my Wenger Commando SR

The large seconds hand will remain at 12 unless you press the upper right button to start it. Pres again to stop it and press the lower button to reset it. The small seconds hand that always runs is the seconds for the time. The large seconds hand is for the stopwatch function. If you like to have it running all the time just start it and leave it running - it won't harm the watch.

After sending the first Wenger Commando Special

Before sending it back, speak to the company (if you haven't got instructions for the watch).

I think what you want is normal but you need to know the details of your watches' procedure to do this.

Wenger Swiss Military watch won't run after battery replacement. What to do?! Please

I am thinking you are talking about a Wenger watch, so question edited from 'Wegnar' and the word 'watch' added. Question moved from Cellphones category to Wenger Swiss Military Watch.. Are you a Watchmaker or a Jeweler? Have a read. My guess is wrong battery, wrong voltage, dead battery or reverse polarity, or bad connection. https://www.fixya.com/support/r27181038-changing_watch_batteries ..

Watch loses time

If your watch is brand new, then the best course of action is to return it to where you purchased it. A modern quartz watch (even the really cheap ones) should not lose time at that rate. You paid good money and got a substandard watch - take it back.
