No, they are not... The model number is like a car model number...But, in that model or series each car/fryer has their own individual VIN number or serial number, so you can track each one... The serial number is individual to each fryer, while the model number is the same for all the fryers made with those specific specs... They can make the same model number for years, but each fryer will have it's own serial number... Normally you need both when ordering parts, etc.... Thanks, Susan

Hi limit switch is tripped.If it stays lit at start-up, you have to replace it, mechanical contacts got stuck in tripped position.

check if the supply voltage is sufficient, oil level is correct or if the heaters are all working.

Get it from your local Restaurant Supply Co. If they don't have they can order it for you.

i had an electrician look at it. he told me the unit is wire for 3 phase, my plug is a single phase. he rewire the unit and it working good. problem solve.

You may have to unplug it for about 30 seconds to see if it resets. if not, I believe there is a code or sequence you can follow to turn it off. You can get this from the manufacturer.
