look for updates for your OS, its possible that there has been an update for his OS, also make sure that you run STOCK OS on your phone AT ALL TIMES. other OSes will simply cause your phone not to work at its full capacity or use the wrong settings on your phone's features, including wifi. & everything not saved into your sd card or sim card will be deleted

Press the little button with a house on it AND the power button at the same time and wait till the screen changes to aan exclamation point in the trianle.
Then hold the alt key and the w key at the same time.

Remove the battery on the phone and then turn it back on while holding the home and power button at the same time. It should bring you to the bootloader screen. Press Alt+L and then Alt+W to wipe the phone. When you reboot the phone now, you can log into your gmail account, but only if you are a T-Mobile customer with the G1 data plan. T-Mobile doesn't track IMEI's so it doesn't matter if it was reported lost or stolen

hi, a deleted message can not be recovered..on like your pc that you can check the recycle bin..once messages on your mobile is deleted, you can not bring it back.
