I can't reset my bios password
BIOS password can be removed using either of these two ways:1) Take you BIOS cell out for a while and then plug it in again and your BIOS password shall be removed. 2) You can also change your BIOS Jumper Setting. Generally the BIOS jumper resides on pin 1 and 2. You simple take it out and then plant it in on pin 2 and 3. Power on your computer and then power it off. Then change the jumper to default setting that is pin 1 & 2 and then once you shall power on your laptop the BIOS password shall be removed. The BIOS jumper resides on the motherboard and there is a marking on it stating "BIOS" which shall help you identify the correct jumper.

My laptop shows red cross
Hi there,
If the message says consider replacing the battery, I guess the battery
life is about to end.
Its good to replace the battery if you have used to laptop for more that
3 years now. Normally that is the max battery life.
However, if the laptop is new and still under warranty, you need to
contact your vendor for possible free replacement, since it is abnormal
for the battery to wear in such a short time.
Also make sure the replacement battery is perfectly compatible to your
laptop. Your vendor can guide you more.
I have replaced batteries in the past. Remove it from the laptop and get
the number off of it. Then you can go and Google the number to find a
reasonably priced replacement.
Hope this helps you.

Bios password reset
Turn the laptop upside down and start removing the plates one by one till you find a button cell about 3/4 inches in diameter. Remove this cell for a minute or so and reinsert after that. Your BIOS password would be reset to nothing. And in future please do not use any passwords as we all tend to forget them sooner or later.
