Latitude - E5500 Laptop Computer ( 2.26GHz, MB, GB) (blcwdhp_3) PC Notebook: how do i restart to factoru condition my dell e550...

Pressing Ctrl + F11 should resolved the issue if the restore partition still exists in functioning condition on the hard drive. Seeing as most D600s are off-lease machines on their fourth or fifth year by now, I'd say the chances of the aforementioned partition existing, not to mention working, are slim. You will probably have to re-install XP on your own. If you already have an XP installation. Once you installed XP on your computer, all drivers are available at Dell's website.

Best of luck.

My laptop will not charge up, it only works when

If the system is in warranty, contact Dell and get a replacement Battery. If system is over a year old you most likely need to buy a new battery. If replacing the battery doesn't resolve, then it will most likely require a motherboard replacement.

Once windows loads, the display stops working

There are many problems that could affect displays. Once could be as simple as pressing your Fn key and the Up arrow to increase the brightness. Try Fn Key and F4 key after it boots to see if it is onl the proper display.

If either of these tricks work then it could be a power inverter or backlight bulb.

Your best bet is to take it to a computer repair shop.

Please rate 4 stars.

Every time I enter something on my computer, i

what do you mean when you say "enter something on your computer"?

if you lower the volume physically do you hear any sound? if you do it may be physical problem.

have you tried to reinstall the sound driver. go into device manager, right click on "sound, video and game controllers" and look for audio controller, right click on it and uninstall, then restart your computer and let the computer reinstall the driver again.
while you are in device mananger look if there's any ? or ! in yellow inthe sound, video and gave controller section. your problem may be related with that ? and ! item. post back with your findings.

another thing you may want to try after you have attempted the previous solution is to look for an updated driver at the manufacturer website.

good luck!

On my e5500 it does not see wireless networks this

Hi, there is a wireless toggle switch on the side of your laptop. It slides back and forth to turn your wireless card on and off. It has a little wireless symbol next to it, and you should NOT see red. If you see red showing, it means that the wireless adapter is turned off. Slide the adapter to the ON position, and then try to repair your wireless connection. Hope this helps!

I get a blue screen every once in a while. It says

Hi,

Boot the laptop into safe mode by restarting it and repeatedly tapping F8. This should take you into an advanced boot options menu. Use the up cursor key to select safe mode and hit the enter key.

You will see white text scroll up the screen and then stop for about a minute or two, then it will boot to Windows safe mode.

When in safe mode click on the start menu. If you have downgraded the laptop to XP click on run and in the box type cmd and hit the enter key.

If you have not downgraded the operating system then in the search box type cmd.

A command window will open up. In that window type sfc /SCANNOW and hit enter.

The system will now scan all the system file and rectify any problems detected with system files.

When the scan is done, in the same command window type chkdsk /f and hit enter. You will see a message that the volume cannot be locked and would you like to schedule a disk check next time the computer restarts? type y and hit enter. then restart the machine.

If the /f does not work try /r instead.

When the computer restarts it will perform a disk check and fix any problems before booting into the operating system.

Please be patient as the checks can take some time.

Regards.

Where is wireless switch on samsung v25

Look at your keyboard.

Is there a BLUE-coloured key in the bottom-left?

Do any of the 'F1' through 'F12' keys have BLUE labelling, with icons?

If so, does one of those icons look like a triangle-shaped tower,
with "arcs" (like ripples in a puddle) around the tip of the tower?

If so, then hold down that BLUE-coloured 'FN' key,
and press that F-something key.
