Lenovo IdeaPad S10 - 42312BU Notebook - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
'blank sceen appear on my lenovo ideapad S10
Hi licah,
It seems that your computer is not booting into windows properly at all.
You mentioned you see Lenovo and windows appear then the screen goes Blank afterwards, you can try to Boot directly into the Hard Drive manually just to get everything working or I mean Booting up again but this is a small shot from what you are experiencing but is also worth the try.
turn your S10 machine OFF then turn it back ON and keep on tapping f12 on the keyboard you should see Boot menu on the list Select HDD then press enter this should boot into the Hard Drive, if it does not then you may need to send the system back to Lenovo for a possible reinstallation of windows or on most time we also have the Hard Drive replaced in many cases.
I hope that this Helps.
Have a nice day,

Hi,
It would be better if you can just reinstall the Operating System of the machine, if happens that you don't have any important Data on the machine. Here are the steps how you can reinstall the Operating System on you machine.
1. Shutdown the machine make sure the machine is running in AC.
2. Look for the button with the Curve Arrow or Inverted Letter U most likely its near Power Button. Press it once.
3. Wait til you see the message Windows is Loading Files.
4. It will load to the One Key Recovery.
5. Click One Key Recovery.
6 Choose Restore from Initial Backup then Click Next. It will just ask you if you really want to continue, you can just proceed with it.
7. Wait until it reached 100% after that restart the system then you can just setup your Operating System again.
Hope it helps.
NO KEYS FUNCTION AND ALL I SEE IS NTLDR MISSING
NTLDR missing is typical of Windows not findind some system files during the boot, I believe nothing wrong with the hardware.
First enter in the BIOS and be sure that in the boot device list you have the CD or DVD before the HDD.
Second Boot the PC from CD with the Windows CD and try to repair the Windows installation.

Welcome to Fixya
This means that windows is already corrupted. Possible cause would be virus issue, recent software installation or windows data corruption. You can still use your computer by restoring it to the origincal facotry state. Turn off the computer and press the small button right beside the power button. It will restore your computer back to original factory state.
Please take note that restoring the computer back to the factory state will delete everything inside the computer. The result would be like you open the computer out from the box.

The laptop shows windows system 32 configuration
Hi
Windows system 32 file is part of the operating system and when it is corrupted, you cannot boot up your computer. I suggest if you had a systems back files, use it to recover the missing file. Just load the back up disk CD/DVD into the CDROM, boot up your computer and run it to CDROM and option will display and choose the repair.
If don't have the systems back up disk. Only solution is to reinstall or repair your operating system.
For reinstalling and repairing, insert the OS installer CD in your CDROM and boot up your computer and run the repair or reinstallation process. Follow the procedure.
