2003 Yamaha YZ 125 "stroke bike backfires" Questions

stroke bike are very dependent on compression. and being a bike that is 12 years old my best educated guess is that the top end needs to be rebuilt. i usually have to have the top end done on my honda

...stroke liquid colled and some one told me the valve is in wrong what could be the problem Maybe they meant the valve is stuck or sticking....Be sure that you have factory recommended spark plugs ...

Bike backfire Hi, I have 2005 DRZ 125L it starts fine but wen I start riding it it starts backfiring. I cleaned out carb. I changed spark plug. I don't now why it's backfiring so much can anyone help ...

bike will like backfire/misfire and if i hold the throttle steady it will backfire like 2 times again....and it does this while riding at a steady pace too...it just started it didint do it a week ago

s wrong? If your bike is a four stroke, the problem is either carbs out of balance or, more likely, the valves need to be re-seated. You didn't say what year, model, or engine size in your posting

backfiring atomik 125cc running rough. the bike will not idle and when i try to put the throttle on it cuts out. so i back off and the power cuts back in only to find the bike backfiring. cannot work ...

bike is a 2 stroke, decarbon the head and piston and install a fresh spark plug. If it is a 4 stroke, chances are you have an intake valve going bad. Decarbon as above, re-seat the valves and consider
