2001 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 "gsxr turns wont start" Questions

gsxr 1000 wont start. i have a 2001 gsxr 1000 that wont start,.all the lights turn on when the key is turned its got a brand new battery, when i go to start it it just clicks or i get like a real slow
