tv powers on and after a few seconds turns off. does this several times then will eventually stay on hi this may be a power board fault, usually capacitors that bulge up or shorted transistor or diode

changed lamp but still not working make sure the lamp is seated properly and the lamp cover is secure, also you may have to reset the lamp counter good luck regards shaun
