My longines watch changes date at midday. Help You have the watch set so that midnight is showing as noon. Advance the watch 12 hours and then reset the date to the proper setting.

midday instead of midnight, so to make it operate correctly, you need to wind it on 12 hours. The date will then change at midnight. You have your watch set to the wrong AM or PM as it thinks midnight

...or anticlockwise. Once you discover which direction advances the date and day ring just set it to the correct day/language and date you want then press the crown home. Hope this solves your
