my 2004 silverado crewcab battery went dead and was replaced. The Air conditioning system now only blows through the defrost vents and the dial to change the airflow does not work. Can this be reset? ...

rear in heater mode. While in heater mode the front vent blows heat, and at the same tiime it`s blowing cold in the rear. are you talking about vents overhead? they only recirculate without the a/c on

heater. 2: fan must blow, it seems it does. 3: the mode switch must be in heat and the lever to max heat. 4: heater valve bad or clogged. 5: heater core insides clogged, (no coolant service every 2yr)
