how do you fix a stuck float Have you tried tapping (easy, don't knock a hole in it) carb body where float is , with a screwdriver handle or similar. ( Not metal)

stuck on my 97 pathfinder. is there a simple inexpensive solution? The only solution would be to bring down the gas tank and taking the fyel pump out to fix the gas float I tried sloshing a fairly low

float that is stuck in fuel pump be fixed with out taking it out Most likely it isn't stuck. Never seem one do that. Most like is the gauge the float connects to that is bad. And you have to remove it
