Brother PE770 Computerized Sewing Machine "wheel hard turn" Questions

wheel hard to turn manually and wont turn electronically EuroPro 420 foot pedal only turns the wheel a half turn then seems to lock up. I then go to turn the wheel and it is extremly hard to turn. But

WHEEL VERY HARD TO TURN WITH LOUD SQUEAKING SOUNDS, THEN JAMS. HOOK RACE AND BOBBIN CASE CLEAR OF LINT AND THREAD. Have you oiled it lately?  under the bobbin there is a white colored "wick"
