AIR BAG AND SUSPENSION MODIFICATION WARNING:
GULF STREAM COACH, INC. DOES NOT APPROVE THE USE OF AFTER MARKET SUSPENSION AIR BAGS OR THE ADDITION OF SUSPENSION LEAF SPRINGS ON ITS VEHICLES. THESE ITEMS, WE HAVE DETERMINED, DO NOT PROPERLY SUPPLEMENT THE SUSPENSION. INSTEAD, THEY INTERFERE WITH THE RIDE AND HANDLING OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES ENGINEERED BY THE CHASSIS MANUFACTURER AND CAN BE DESTRUCTIVE TO THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE AND INTERFERE WITH ITS ROAD HANDLING CAPABILITIES. DO NOT USE SUPPLEMENTAL AIR BAGS OR SPRINGS ON YOUR MOTOR HOME! IF SUPPLEMENTAL CAPABILITY FOR THE SUSPENSION IS DESIRED, YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO CARRY MORE CARGO THAN THE VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED FOR. UPGRADING WITH ADDITIONAL SPRINGS, HIGHER CAPACITY SHOCK ABSORBERS, OR COIL-OVER SHOCKS WILL ALSO VOID YOUR WARRANTY. ALWAYS BE MINDFUL THAT YOUR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED FOR THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT TO CARRY. MORE WEIGHT IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED. ANY MODIFICATION MUST BE APPROVED BY GULF STREAM IN WRITING, OR IT WILL VOID THE WARRANTY! GULF STREAM WILL NOT APPROVE ANY AIR BAG INSTALLATION OR OTHER SUSPENSION MODIFICATION. BEFORE MODIFYING YOUR SUSPENSION, TALK TO YOUR CHASSIS DEALER. AVOID CAUSING POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO YOUR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE.
All vehicles should be winterized as should all caravans if they are to be subjected to freezing temperatures.
The owner's handbook usually provide a checklist and a how-to guide but briefly the caravan battery is removed and connected to a battery maintainer, all fluids are drained from toilet, tanks and pipework and the weight removed from the tyres.
It is also wise to guard against mice.
Gently Squeeze the Cover width wise and pull down gently.
These covers are very very brittle from being cooked by the Heat from the "Globes" (or Light bulbs).
The completely automatic transfer switch monitors incoming voltage from the utility line, around the clock.
When utility power is interrupted, the automatic transfer switch immediately senses the problem and signals the generator to start.
Once the generator is running at proper speed, the automatic transfer switch safely shuts off the utility line and simultaneously opens the generator power line from the generator.
Within seconds, your generator system begins supplying electricity to the critical emergency circuits of your home or business. The transfer switch continues to monitor the utility line conditions.
When the automatic transfer switch senses the utility line voltage has returned at a steady state, it re-transfers the electrical load back to the utility line and resumes monitoring for subsequent utility loss. The generator will continue to run for an engine cool-down period of several minutes while the entire system stands ready for the next power outage.
it is not clear what you are asking, since what you posted isn't a question. - - - try googling your make and model and year on the internet to find weight. or contact manufacturer and ask - while you have the VIN in front of you.
Yes, the Prado has the same engine and transmission at the Toyota 4-runner. The auto transmission with tow 6700 pounds, but the manual tranny is only rated at 5500
The most important principles in towing are:
1) The most important element in towing safety is the person behind the steering wheel.
2) Speed is an absolutely critical factor: When towing, it's not how fast you can go that counts, it's how fast you can stop.
You can take it to a truck scale to have it weighed. Your owners manual will give the trailer weight before you loaded it with camping equipment and kitchen ware. It weighs more than "off the showroom" floor weight....I'll bet. Good Luck....fill the holding tanks ...then go weigh, or look up capacity of your holding tanks and then multiply the gallon amounts X the weight of one gallon of water. Which is 8.35 pounds. And gasoline is 5.8 - 6.3 pounds. diesel = 7.15 pounds. Propane = about 4.11 pounds.
It's called a tape measure. Why not just measure it yourself? Weights are noted on the ID tag.

Which frame jack? The front landing gear or the stabilizer jacks at the rear of the coach? The principle in leveling is to utilize the tires and axles as the primary point of level. Make sure that you have your wheels/tires level from side to side first. Then using the landing gear at the front level from front to rear. The stabilizer jacks at the rear are not designed to support the total weight of the unit but rather to remove the bounce and sway. If the unit is raised too high with the stabilizer jacks the unit could fall to one side or the other damaging the jacks, the trailer or worse injuring someone.
