Why does 15 amp awning fuse keep blowing?

Awning does not do anything- checked the breaker compartment and a 15 amp fuse was blown--also some of the inside lights are not working--replaced the fuse but sparked and blew immediately.

Because the circuit is drawing excessive current. You'll need to isolate individual components until you determine where ground fault is occurring.

Forest River Wildwood x-lite 2015 awning won't work, I was told to try to check fuse in the multi board which is different that main fuse box, but can't find it. Was told could be in crawl space

I would believe the awning is not in the tongue. The tongue fuse is for the 12 coming in from the tow vehicle.
Look for the battery converter, and the fuse panel will be close by.. fuses should be marked by the factory.
If not marked, then go back to the awning switch and verify with a metwe you have 12 volts

What is the size of awning for 2001 Fleetwood Terry travel trailer 25L?

Hello, Kelly -

Sorry, I don't have that information for you. I suspect you would be more likely to find that information through an online forum for recreational vehicle owners.

I see the iRV2.com website has a forum for just those who own Fleetwood travel trailers and other RVs:

The awning manufacturer for rv

That's an interesting question as for me because every single year the market shows us new manufacturers which are even better then the previous ones. For example the latest source
https://highskyrvparts.com/rv-parts/awning-shade/room-enclosures which I checked while looking for rv awning enclosure. It also may be helpful for you (if you're still interested in).

Our awning has worked with no problem then all of a sudden it stopped working. The awning is in but when we try to extend it nothing happens. We have checked the fuses. Any suggestions?

Contact your awning's manufacture for corrective procedures. If not repairable it may be covered under warranty or home owner's insurance.

Power awning will not extend no noise from motor

Likely, the fuse for your awning system has blown. Check your 12v fuse panel.

2011 fourwinds travel trailer wiring

The slides and power awning use inline circuit breakers due to the higher amp draw. These circuit breakers are typically located near the front of the unit. Sometimes in the storage compartment, on the inside of the tongue, behind the front cross member... Follow the positive battery cable back until you fond a series of rectangle boxes (small with a wire connected to each end). Some of these circuit breakers are automatic reset, others have a small black button on the side that will need to be pushed back in. You may also need to ensure that all of the terminal nuts are tight.
