In most travel trailers, the water pump is typically located underneath the trailer, near the fresh water tank. The exact location may vary depending on the specific make and model of your trailer.
To locate the water pump, you will likely need to access the underside of the trailer by crawling under it or using a jack to lift it up. Once you are underneath the trailer, look for the fresh water tank and follow the water lines from the tank to the pump.
If you are unable to locate the water pump or are unsure of its exact location, you may want to consult the manual for your specific model of North Trail 22RBK travel trailer or contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for assistance.
I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can assist with.
Generally, on fifth wheels, the fresh water tank is in the rear area of the rv, but the pump is usually up near the front near the rest of the plumbing. Ie water heater, bathroom, etc. There are storage areas in the front, usually, the pump is on the side where the door for entering the trailer is. Open the storage access door that is on that side in the front and look at the panels that close off tbe storage area to the living quarters of the rv. There is usually a hole for access to a āwinterizing pointā marked. There us where you will find the pump
Just make shure it has water going to it and leave a valve open so it can drain out air at the same time .You can use your house direct hookup to push water threw to .
There must be a water shut off valve between the tank and the water pump. One of those hook ups will be for city water that goes direct to your tap and the other inlet is to fill the on board tank. Again check for shut off valves.
If you don't have a hot water heater winterizing bypass kit installed, get one before going any further.
Next, drain the water out of the hot water tank. Add POTABLE (not automotive) anti freeze to the water system Run run faucets one at a time both hot and cold, toilet and shower head until you see the anti freeze . Next, shut off the water pump and open the faucets. This saves any chance of cracked water lines. When you want to use the trailer again, close the bypass valves on the hot eater tank and run the pump long enough to remove the antifreeze solution from the system. Fill the water tank and run the faucets for a few minutes. Potable antifreeze won't make you sick so there's no worry if you don't get it all out of the system.
No diagrams available. There should be a tank located under the trailer with a water fill point on the outside of the trailer. Inside under a cabinet there should be a demand pump with an on/off switch located on the monitor panel. There may be a winterizing three way valve between the tank and the pump with a third open ended line used to draw antifreeze into the system. If the valve is in the wrong position the pump will not prime and distribute the water as designed. From there the pump is plumbed into the rest of the plumbing system.
basically you get as much of the water out as possible and add antifreeze to the traps and low points. Getting water out involves pulling the cathode/drain on your hot water tank and changing around the bypass valves so you don't have to fill it with antifreeze. There should be low point drains on the trailer (mine has two) Use only the PINK antifreeze which is safe for potable systems. I would reccomend a search on youtube as there are several good videos. Also you may want to pay an RV dealer to do this and watch first time. Once you know what to do it is pretty simple.
