Find a repair manual. eBay may have, or others.

One thing to make sure is that the cables are actually attached. Take the outside connection apart and make sure the cable is attached to the plate. I worked on RV's for years and this happens more than you think.

The best way to repair is to completely remove the shower surround and pan. Build a better support and repair the drain then reinstall. Leaking water will ultimately ruin the actual floor of the camper.

Is it leaking at a glued connection or a jam nut connection? If at the jam nut connection you may need to replace the jam nut washer to get a good seal. If it is a glued connection. You may get luck and reseal the connection by swabbing some ABS glue over the leaking area. ABS glue is thick black glue and may be found at your local RV dealership.

This might not be much help, without more details, but there should be a valve inside the water heater panel (outside) you can open. Open the valve at the main propane tank also. Make sure the water tank is FULL before you fire it up. There should be a switch inside the coach somewhere to turn it on. If it doesn't ignite immediately, you probably have air in the lines. Light the stove and let it burn for a minute, then try the hot water tank again. Might take a few tries to get it fired up.

It could actually be the thermostat, the circuit board, the sail switch, but no way of knowing without actually seeing and diagnosing it.

1st Question - Can you verify that you actually have a Gas/Electic Waterheater? Most units are gas only. You may have to look at the unit and look for power cables. 2nd. Is power connected prior to turning on the water heater?

Look for a short plastic water line protruding under with a cap or tap on it. Should be roughly in line with Potable fill inlet. Get right under and look around frame area as well. Locate pump and look in that area as well.

talk with an agent for the manufacturer as to the limits of what can be attached to the unit as most camper chassis are of light gauge manufacture and any excess weight can cause them to crack and the attachment to fall of

check the piping to the shower for damage, kinks , blockage check that the washer in the tap is not expanded and blocking off the flow of water

Well, as you probably already know Forest River only carries the on-line manuals for the last three model years. However, I'd send them an email request and see if they can dig one up out of their archives. Another good place to try would be owners group forums.
