if your getting no fuel at all to the carb then its the petcock valve it works off of vacume so take fuel line off and spin it over if fuel runs out then its fine that means your needle valve in carb maybe stuck. and in my case a stick pulled the vacume line off the intake that controls the petcock valve.

I'm assuming you mean gas comes out the spark plug hole with the plug removed??? You probably have a gummed up carburator, due to old gas or dirt. Make sure your air filter is clean first, and then get your carburator thoroughly cleaned. If your float is sticking, or the float needle is dirty or worn out, it will keep dumping fuel to the engine.

if you tightenned down tight,then you will need a new needle valve and seat,lightly screw closed,then back out 1 1/4 turns if you cant get it too run,the needle valve and seat need to be replaced
