Idle air control valve

Remove the gas cap,and then remove the return fuel line off the back of the throttle body. Now take a air hose and blow in the line you removed to make sure it is not clogged up,you should be able to blow back threw the tank easy with compressed air.If you are able to,then replace the fuel pressure regulator on top of the throttle body.

1988 chevy S10 turns over but won't start getting spark put in new fuel pump, cpu and injector. If I pour A little gas in throttle body hole it will fire for a few sec. fueses all test good.

Hello, just had this problem myself. Check your EGR valve by pulling the vacume line off and pushing up under the valve put your finger over the vacume line hole and release the valve, if it returns to normal position then its bad if not its good. If its bad it needs replaced. Mine did the exact same thing and thats what it was. Hope this helps

I have a 1998 GMC Sonoma 4.3 4x4, and its running pretty rough, if it starts, it runs like out of timing and backfires as it warms up, changed rotar, distributor, cap, set timing about fifteen times. i even...

Based on what you have already replaced and the fact you keep having to rest the timing tells me the problem is the Timing Belt/Chain has stretched or the Tension assembly for the timing has become inoperative. Your going to have to inspect these and repair them as needed.
