Start at you battery and work back towards your ignition inspecting each and every harness connector...disconnect, clean with electric contact cleaner, apply a small amount of dielectric grease and reconnect, even the connectors under the seat. Take your time and it will be worth the effort. Check all the grounds too.
Couple of days before it completely got stopped on my way to office and then luckily I found a nearby mechanic shop. When I told the whole story, he instantly told that water would have gone inside the petrol tank.
When we took the petrol from the tank we saw that indeed the water was there and this water was going inside the carb which was creating all the hell of a problem. I gave the bike for servicing and he told that the small hole which is inside the petrol tank, if stuck with dust, would create all this nonsense.
Now the bike is doing gud.

Try replacing the CDI unit of the bike, this problem is mostly caused due to a faulty cdi unit
