Hi / Lo beam switch is one spot.. Have you checked for 12V on the low beam wire(s) to the bulb? Keep checking back to where 12 V is and repair or replace the part of the circuit or component / connection between 12V and 0V.
Use a 12V test light to check. Clip the ground lead of the test light to the FRAME - not the ground wire of the socket. Probe the socket and wires. If no lights, follow the power wires back and test w/ probe until you find power. If it DOES light with the clip on the FRAME, place the test light clip on the 12V (+) terminal of the battery. and probe the GROUND wire of the socket back until it lights - this is the last place the GROUND connection is good. You should fix the break or cut the dead side of the wire and tie it to a good ground to get the headlight to work again.
It happened to me, both low beam filaments in both new at same time (happens a lot so I'm told) The earths are in a stoopid place under the left headlight.
The Tach and speedo lights are connected together. They should both light the moment ignition is switched to "On". The taillight and headlamp's sidelight should also light up at the same time. If the lights mentioned come on then the problem is at the bulb in the rear of the tach itself. First try switching the tach and speedo bulbs to confirm that it is the bulb. If not the bulb check wiring. The grey wire on the connector is the power feed to the bulbs. See that you have 12V on this line The black/white is the earth line for these 2 bulbs and also for the high beam indicator. Connecting 12V to between the black/white and the grey will let the speedo and tach light up. As for the low beam the white wire on the back of the headlamp supplies power to the low beam. If you have 12V on this line with the handlebar switch set to low beam, then you have a blown low beam filament and the bulb needs replacement. With no power to this line when switched to low beam, check the wire between the switch and headlamp for continuity. I'm assuming the high beam works so if you've still not solved the problem at this point then the switch needs repair or replacing. Please leave a comment if you need further assistance.
this could be solved by taking the bulb out of its holder and cleaning the contact of the bulb and holder.
turn the ignition on after this with the bulbs in the holder and plugged in but not in the headlight kitself.Turn the lights on and see if the work if still the same try moving the bulb while on in its older and see if its just loose. if so holding it one way it will work. wedge something something to hold it in place or buy a used bulb holder.
Check the fuses at the same time and the wire plug that powers the bulb. check and clean the contacts of these also
Let me know how it goes and ill help again if it persists. [email protected]

The most likey place will be the double connecter on the driver side where it feeds the headlight check connections on the low beam and there should be a connection to go to the other side. if the wire is not hot from the driver side going to the passenger side that is your problem. Last item will be the head light switch. But check the wires on the oppiste side also check the ground wire.
I would wager that you have a bad high-beam switch. Get an Ohmmeter and check the switch. also check the bulb holder to be sure power, if it is there, is getting to the bulb.
