Hey, I got a Gilera Runner 50 2005 PureJet. The problem started periodically; as I was speeding up, it started not to move anymore, like taking more air or something, even though the engine would not go off. It could start up, but not move. When I was "giving gas" it wouldn't move, doing the same thing. Now, I left it for a few days off, it won't even start. I tried another spark, but it isn't that. What could it be?

easier to fit a second hand engine, prob cheaper as well, try a breakers. need special tools to split cases and to pull together after new crank in, to get end float on crank, tricky. won't las a mile if bearings side loaded.

Your carb jets may need a good clean ,also check your air filter it may need changing along with new spark plugs .
