I have a 2007 Yamaha V Star 1300 tourer that I just purchased. After sitting for 2 days, the battery was too low to crank. I checked the battery connections and put on the battery tender for several hours. the lights come on but it does not crank. The instrument lcd shows a # 12. Any help, please?

The battery is probably old and cannot hold a charge anymore. New batteries are relatively cheap. Try buying a new battery, folow the instructions to the letter, and you should have no problems anymore.
