None of my books give any torque specs for either the riser nuts/bolts nor the handlebar clamp bolts. Just use the tried and trusted "Germanic" method. "Gutentite". Use a bit of Loctite 242 med. strenght blue on the fasteners.

Need to know how tight do tighten the bracket that will hold down ape hangers 16" on a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Do you have a torque wrench? The instructions that came with the handlebars or the clamp should indicate how many ft. lbs. If not call the factory or go to a qualified mechanic. Losing handlebars at 80 mph is not something you will survive.

I installed ape hangers(16)on my Valcan vn2000 classic LT.The throttle now sticks or hangs up when I twist the throttle. how can I undo this problem.
You will need to get longer throttle cables. You are putting them in a bind and that dangorus.
