Try draining the carburetor. Water may have built up in the float bowl. Install a new spark plug.If draining and a new plug dobn't help, remove the carb then remove the float bowl and clean the carb with spray carb cleaner.
Testimonial: "Hello, thanks i didn't mean to insult you, i didn't know what it meant ,but i will take it apart and see and i will let you know what it was ,"
I drained the fuel out of tank and carburator but nothing same thing ,,it will run if i push start but not kick start, and when it does run it will idle but when i turn thottle it will bogg out ,so i played with the jets a bit ,the air and fuel ,,,,when i first got it ,it would start with one kick so easy but now so hard to start and try keep running ,,,please help me ,,maybe the compression or no i never tested,,,,it smokes a bit too but not much when idling. Help please, this is a good sight for people like me ,,,lol.
Give me some information. Is the engine a two stroke or a four stroke? What year is the bike. How old is the battery? The answers to the questions are important in determining the probable causes of your problems.
For lack of a response on the information, I am suggesting you get a new battery. When the engine is at an idle, the pick up coil is not able to supply much of any current. That means the battery must pick up the load. If the battery is weak there isn't enough power to run the engine. Most bike batteries will last only one and a half years. Some will stay good for two years or so. The air and throttle settings should be set at one and one half turns outward from a LIGHTLY seated position. Adjust from that starting point. Please consider a rating better than 1 thumb. We FixYa guys don't get paid, we help 'cause we want to. Hey, 4 thumbs costs the same as 1 thumb. At least I am giving the best I can with the information given.
I t has no battery ,,i can get it to run when i push start but even then i can put it to full thottle cause it just keeps bogging out ,,,it will idle ,but cant full thottle just boggs out st i ajusted the jets the air and fuel but same thing when it warms up for a long time it will start with one kick but will still bogg out so have to ride very slow,,,look up on YOU TUBE for a 2005 90 cc Ducar dirtbike blue in color,,,,it's a 4 stroke don't mix gas .
Okay, based on what you have just told me, the bike runs on a magneto. Your Japanese engine is actually a Chinese engine. The bike is made in China. China bikes are known to have a bunch of problems. You drained the tank and carb but did you actually CLEAN the carb interior? A plugged main jet would be likely. Remove the carb then remove the float bowl and the air and throttle screws then clean the carb. Pay special attention to the main jet. Also, check the float for proper operation; with the float down the gas should flow. With the float gently raised upward the gas should stop flowing. Reset the screws; the air and throttle screws should be set at one and one half turns outward from a LIGHTLY seated position. Since the bike is a four stroke, do a compression check. It needs to be 120psi or above. If lower, chances are the valves need to be re-seated. I would have the pick up coil checked prior to tearing into the engine. It could be weak. If the bike has points instead of CDI then file or replace the points and condenser, re-gap the points to .015 and check ignition timing using a timing light. Be sure the air cleaner is clean. Craig, what I have advised you to do so far should get you back on the road. If the engine is getting air, gas, compression and a properly timed spark, it should run providing the carb screws are set properly. I can't help any further without having the bike in my hands. I doubt anyone else can help more but you could re-post and try for other answers. Thanks for the one thumb rating.
An engine will run on less than 120psi compression, it just won't have enough power to do anything. If you did get a good reading at only 50 psi it would indicate the valves as the most likely source of the pressure leak. The only other options would be a bad head gasket, ( you would hear the pressure leak ), a hole in the piston, ( it does happen on occasion ), broken piston rings, ( not too likely ), and an extremely loose spark plug. By the way, does the engine have an overhead cam, OHC? CRAIG--- revise the thumbs up rating. For all the help I am giving, just one thumb up is an insult.
I compression tested all my stuff ,never did that before and my two trikes have 120 psi and my ducar has 50 psi and my 50 cc gio has 50 psi,so i need to change both ,,and my 90 cc baja has 120 psi and i'm getting a engine from kijiji an 1978 175 cc yamaha engine and i will test that to ,,,,,thankyou for all your help and i would like to keep in touch with you if thats ok.

Incase you havnt gotten your bike going yet... , my little ducar had the exact same issue, the reason mine ducar wasnt idling is because i had the "idle screw" (i dont know the real name) too loose, i then tightened it and it idled perfectly. hope this helps you buddy.

It's a 4 stroke 90 cc ducar dirt bike ,it has no battery ,,,some kind of Japanese engine use to run with one kick ,now it's like the carbuater don't want to hold the fuel up ,,i push start to get running then it boggs like its flooded or something ,cant go full thottle cause it boggs out to much it will run but cant put full thottle,,,look up in you tube it's in there ,,,,it's a 2006 90 cc Ducar dirt bike blue in color heavy little bike.
It would be nice to post a picture of it on here or even a video that would be cool.
I checked the compression and it said 50 and its sopposed to be 120,,,but how come it still starts.
