The oil drain plug is on the bottom of the transmission as the oil tank is located there. Usually the drain plug is the one closest to the left front of the pan. Drain the oil, change the filter, and add fresh oil. To change the primary, locate the small pipe plug on the bottom of the primary directly below the derby cover and remove it. Drain the oil, remove the derby cover, and stand the bike straight up. Fill the primary with oil just until it comes up the bottom of the outer clutch drum. Do not overfill. To change the transmission lubricant, locate the pipe plug on the front of the oil pan on the bottom of the transmission. Drain the oil and refill though the plug and dipstick in the chrome release cover on the right side of the transmission. Add 20-24 ounces of oil.

Good luck
Steve

I resently replaced my inner primary with a belt since then i still have problems oil leaking from my primary i shut down all my oilers but i still have a large access of oil leakage

Are you sure it's oil and not gear lube?

Sometimes the seal behind the transmission drive sprocket/pulley goes bad. (I had this problem myself)

Next up could be a seal behind the engine crankshaft sprocket/pulley.

Finally if you have an oil line from the oil pump to lube the primary chain (which you no longer have), remove/plug the line.

Oil quantity need for oil change on 05 fatboy engine transmission and primary

The engine take three quarts, the primary takes 38-44 ounces, and the transmission holds 20-24 ounces. Check the oil in the engine oil tank with the bike on the side stand. As long as the oil is between the lines, do not add oil. When you change the oil and filter, start the engine for 15 seconds and then check the oil. On the primary, stand the bike straight up. Remove the derby cover and fill the primary until the oil comes just up to the bottom of the outer clutch shell. Do not overfill. If you do, the clutch will drag and you will not be able to find neutral with the engine running. Check the transmission with the bike straight up as well. There is a dip stick on the plug where you add the oil. Make sure the oil level is between the lines.

Good Luck

Ive locked myself out of my ipod nano

if you forgot your password thats not a problem. Just follow the steps i have outlined below. If this doesnt work please let me know and i will assist you from there. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following: Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one IPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked. If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data."
If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the solution. thanks and have a great day.

2006 harley davidson 1200 How do i change the oil

I think you can find the oil drain on the left side of the bike down low on the frame right behind the engine. It's a large diameter hose that plugs onto a stub on the frame. Some are located just below the battery tray and some are lower on the frame down by the rear of the primary case. Drain the oil, change the filter, refill with oil, and you're ready to go.

If you want to change the transmission oil/ primary oil, the drain is underneath the bottom of the primary at the very rear of the primary.

Three quarts of engine oil and a quart of primary/transmission oil.

Changing fluids

Trans plug is under the Primary cover ( Left side ) and the Oil line is under the frame on the left side. Look for a oil line with a plug attatched to it. Run the bike up to operating temp. Primary and trans are the same thing ( Sport Trans fluid ) 1Qt in the primary ( fill throught the little cover on the side of the primary, and fill the oil through the oil tank. Put a little oil in the filter too, before installing, this will give the motor a little bit of oil until the rest of it makes it way through. You'll also need 1 p/n 11105 for the drain plug on the primary.

TRANSMISSION SERVICING

Most are using Syn3 oil in engine, tranny, and primary.
This simplifies this, and is a decent oil.
32oz of oil in primary.
20-24oz of oil in tranny
99851-05 primary case/ trans oil(Conv Oil)

there are other brands that surpass the syn3 oil but it takes some hunting around to find a supply.
Ammsol is one such brand and they recommend.
20w50 engine
15w40 primary
75w90 tranny

Hope this is of some assistance

Gear Box oil change How do i do it??

Trans fluid and primary fluid are the same oil , The drain plug is under the laft side primary cover. 1 qt of oil goes in the inspection cover on the top side of the primary cover. The oil drain is a hose under the left side by the frame rail. Look for a oil line with a plug. fill with approx 3 qts through the oil tank. Make sure you get the bike up to operating temp before dropping the fluid.
