I have a 2004 Metro. II, it sat for a year, went to start it, it started fine but when I opened the throttle a little it would stall.Drained gas put fresh gas in. I changed spark plug, removed carb, throughly cleaned it including all jets. Still the same problem, fuel pump is fine as is fuel and air filter, reset the ECM, no luck. Don't know where alse to look. Thanks, Jim

Carbs gummed up. Need a serious cleaning or a full ruubers replacement/rebuild kit. Gas turns to gummy when left stting in the fuel bowls.

Use a couple of cans of Sea Foam.. best stuff in the world.

If you have used Dyno jet kit I have had a kit come through with smaller main jets than the stock ones causing it to run way to lean.

Pay special attention to the parts in red. DO NOT mix parts from the front carb with parts from the back carb. When removing adjuster screws and jets, count the number of turns to remove them, write it down, and replace with the same number of turns.

When removing the pilot jet screw, count the number of turns to remove. Put the screw back the same number of turns then unscrew 1/4 turn.

SOURCE: a valkryie sat too long and the carbs are gummed

you will have to remove them and clean them out carb cleaner wont do it by itself.
