We don't know how to open the seat on the sym jet 4 scootor, we turn the ignition key to open seat then what? we've tried pulling the seat up it still won't open and the manual is stuck inside help!

Try cleaning the burner and jets.

The special tool is a pen,there are two ways there is a openining next to the key .push the pen next to the opening of the key turn the ignition key to 0 position and pull out,the second key in 0 position and on your key press release arrow and pull out

you need to turn the key more almost 1/4 turn you will hear a click from the back of the seat

remove steering wheel and when you get to the ignition switch there is a small pin slide out and pull ignition switch that's how I did it in my Chevy
the auto parts store have a special wrench you need to remove the clip in the column find a store with loaners so you don't have to buy one

I would call a locksmith or bettery yet find out the key number and have the dealer cut one.

1. get in the car
2. shut the door
3. place the key in the ignition
4. lock the doors, manually
5. turn the ignition to on then off...do this seven times
6. unlock the doors and try your remote
