How to wire a horn on an 2003 harley davidson low rider 2 wires from horn cannot find where one goes broke wire does tank have to come off to chase down wire harness

Remove the instrument console and the front and rear mounting bolts and then the instrument wiring and the overflow hose and the fuel line at shut off valve making sure the valve is "OFF" and drain the tank and then remove the crossover hose at one side and plug line and hose and then disconnect fuel gauge connector at left side of frame under the tank.

The wires usually run down along side the top tube of the frame or are underneath it held by wireties.

This is the wire that goes to the battery to recharge it. Now, You can connect it directly to the positive post of the battery, to the copper post of the circuit breaker, or to the bolt on the starter where the large battery cable connects. Either place it will be connected either directly or indirectly to the positive post of the battery.
