Wiring problem. go to any mechanic for solve it, dont try to fix by yourself if you dont about it.
Sometime, it have problem with your wire. if you have modified your motorcylce with something that have use battery from your motorcycle, i hope it modifed properly, if not it will cause short circuit.

Testing with voltmeter to test wired that was damaged. Using relay for lamp also have their weakness. Each eletronic for motorcycle have calculated for standard. Adding relay and modification with carburetor, head , champ, will make little difference to their prefomance. Maybe it will more powerful, but it will reduce their lifetime.

What causes outside cooper MD series security light to flicker during night

If this uses a high pressure sodium lamp, it usually means that the lamp is going bad and needs to be replaced. If the lamp is good, check that it is tight in the socket. The other possible cause would be a light shining on the photo eye, if it is photo eye controlled. You may have to rotate the photo eye to face away from the light source.

Sony kf-ws60s1 front red light flashes 6 times after lamp replacement. Need thermal fuse part number

hello!
your issue has nothing to do with "thermal switch". while you have replaced the lamp, you could lose a piece of plastic hardware, in front of the lamp housing. It pushes auxiliary interlock switch, right under the front of the lamp compartment. If you take lamp out, use flashlight and shine inside. There is a little switch at the bottom. Try to make the lamp housing push it, without breaking anything. you could get "generic" lamp with housing, which is not correct. Anyway, that's the deal. Also: don't forget to install lamp door and turn the handle clockwise! there is another switch. I've seen people who forget to put that door back! Really!
good luck,
Alex.

My check engene light bulb is out, and i need to replace ot before my inspection... Need to know where the bulb is loacted to replace?

The check engine light is located in the message center right above the instrument cluster. To remove it you will need to jest remove the a pillar trim. Those are the plastic pieces that run from the ceiling down to the dash on both sides. Then you will need to remove the upper dash pannel. It is held in by clips. Gently pry up and it will start to release the clips. Once the upper dash panel is out you will see the screws that hold the message center in place. Remove the screws, remove the message center, and replace the bulbs. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Have 1997 heritage softail classic neutral light will not come on even when changing blubs, other lights seem to still work, oil. bright lights, turn signals. Don,t know whar else to do?

Your neutral indicator switch may be bad. Look on the chrome cover on top of the transmission and you'll see a wire that plugs onto the neutral switch. Disconnect this wire and ground it to the engine. Turn on the ignition switch and the indicator light should light up. If it does, replace the neutral switch. If it doesn't, you've got a wiring problem between there and the indicator lamp.

Good Luck

Display will not light up. It is completely black but if you shine a light at it you can barely see it

If you can see characters when shining a torch on the dark screen then the screen is OK it is the lamp or ballast that has failed. I would find an authorised repairer and get it repaired.
Hope that helps.

I own a Citizen Eco Drive Calibre 8700 Blue dial Romen letters. I have not used it for very long time (6 months). Now when exposed to light only the second hand works but the minute hand and hour hand do...

If your watch was not stored where it could have light shining on it the LI battery would drain completely. There is a possible solution although it does not work all the time. It depends on how badly the battery has been allowed to drain.

Setup a lamp that will shine on a counter 24 hours a day and set your watch there. It helps if the lamp is about 1.5 - 2 feet above the watch. A 60 watt incand. lamp will work fine.

Leave your watch under this lamp for 3 - 4 days 24 hours a day. This will supply the solar cells with enough energy to recharge the battery and get it working again. If after this time it is still not working then the battery is just not going to accept a charge again or there is something else wrong that a watchmaker is going to have to fix for you.

Hope this helps.

I turn tv on...green light comes on but i get no picture or audio....then light indicator blinks red

Hello!
Lamp or ballast(if lamp has been replaced) is bad.
Explanation: green comes on: system works, waiting for light to shine into light engine: no light is coming out of lamp, system shuts down, then you see red! how to determine: pull the lamp out of the unit's compartment. Inspect lamp: bloated stem? shuttered? reflector is not shiny? Chuck it!
Lamp looks good or just been replaced: try ballast. Close lamp compartment without lamp itself. Make sure, door is shut, as well. Turn unit on and listen close to lamp compartment: good ballast will make a buzzing noise, then stop. You've got "red'! No buzzing: ballast quit. Needs major repair! Lamp must be good, for sure, to get to the last part of diagnostics. Conclusion: more, than 2000 hours of usage: replace lamp first!
Good luck,
Alex.

I HAVE M675 GATEWAY

Hi,

This could either be a defective CCF Lamp or the inverter that powers the lamp. In some instances, it could also be a simple case of cold solder/loose connection in the inverter circuitry or the connector to the lamp.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
