Fyi, the clutch must be pulled in. It sounds like you either are not remembering to pull the clutch in or the switch connected to the clutch perch is faulty. You can jump the two wires to test this.

The clutch switch has two wires, connect the two together and retry starting the bike

Please remember to leave feedback. Thanks
ok dude so your a genious! lol.. problem numero uno fixed lol.. noooow when it tries to turn over it sounds like my starter isnt engaging.. it just kinda goes "wwwwwiiiiiiiiinnnnnggggggggg" ... starter celinoid?
If the battery is fully charged i would say you have a bad starter clutch. These things do no wear out from not being used.
i think the starter clutch is fine.. i did pull off the cover to the starter and look at it all n it looks fine but maybe i messed somthing up in there? is there something that i should have known before i did that? im pretty good with cars but not so much with bikes.. this is my first real tinker job on a bike so i really am takin a big chance messin with it.. i mean idk about timing n gearing ect.. is there something in there that would have got messed up by me pulling the cap? i also pulled apart the starter motor n checked the brushes ect.. all seemed ok. and the starter motor IS turning now.. but isnt theyre a magnetic system that engages the gears? do you think that could be a problem?
Here is a link to the starter clutch, it should be replaced as an assy. Nothing you can do with it except to replace it when it starts slipping. http://www.mrcycles.com/fiche_image_popu...
ok man, im gona trust ur judgement and replace it.. again thank you sooooooo much for your help... you rock!
