Carborator and vacum hose confustion

I recently put in a rebuilt engine into my 1990 chevy truck. I have changed the fule filter and am still not getting gas to the carbarator. A lot of the vacum lines broke off durring the removal and with the weekend warrior mode this job is being completed has made it difficult to remember what goes where. I have a manual that is zero help. Is there any diagrams with picture that outline where all these lines go. Do you have any suggestions?

1990 i believe had throttle body fuel injection NOT a carb. I can send you information but check the fuses and make sure they are all good I believe the fuel pump fuse is 20amp (yellow fuse) located under the plastic cover on the passenger side of the firewall be careful there are many electric connections there the fuel pump fuse is in a small inline holder

if you find this information helpful please rate me accordingly and let me know if you would like a diaggram of the electric schematic for the fuel pump on the truck and vacuum diagram.

Why is my 350 chevy engine misfiring

What year and is it the factory engine? If it is carborated the choke may not be opening enough and is starving it for air and running rich. What spark plugs are you running? Have you replaced the vacume hoses and gone over the engine tightening(torquing) intake, carb and other parts?

1973 dodge dump truck rebuilt the carborator and it still keeps cutting off when at idle. Any sugestions?

CHECK FLOAT LEVEL IS CORRECT. IF YES CHANGE OUT FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP. OLD DUMP TRUCKS GET A LOT OF RUST IN FUEL TANK. YOU MAY NEED TO COAT THE INSIDE OF TANK. THERE ARE COATING KITS AVAILABLE.

My 87 chevy custom runs but stalls once i try driving, what could it be?

I would suspect a vacum leak or bad fuel pump. take a can of carborator cleaner and spray around vacum hoses, if engine revs up or dies out you just found a vacum leak

My 1990 chevy lumina just started making a noise when aceleratin

change fuel filter.then check fuel pressure.if you got TBI FUEL INJECTION PRESSURE SHOULD BE 26-32 PSI. IF YOU GOT MFI FUEL INJECTION PRESSURE SHOULD BE 40-47 PSI.if all is good .have car scan check the egr valve.map sensor. coolant sensor.if any one of those are bad it causes rich fuel mixture.that will cause you to fail smog test.also replace plugs and wires.if they are faulty they will misfire cause unburn fuel to come out exhaust.also check for for intake leaks check all vacuum hoses.

Engine Stalls When stopped and in Drive

Question, did you replace the throttle body, or clean the throttle plate, it will carbon up and block air needed for the idling speed to be correct. Also check for vacuum leaks, as the older vehicles didn't have good vacuum hoses. Good luck
