I have a keeway hurricane scooter. Its 50 cc's 580km on the dial. When the light turns green I turn the throttle to full and a red light turns on near an oil symbo. It turns off when I. Ease the throttle. Once I'm upto speed it doesn't light up. I haven't changed my riding style. Any ideas what's goin on

Weak return spring? Is routed correctly so it doesn't pull when the hadlebars are moved?

So the status light does not flash ? just a steady green ?,,,

so when moving the throttle lever or wig wag what ever you wish to call it , is there a click from the rear brake located on the side of the motor ???

Possible battery mismatch. Try finding out the manufacturer specified battery.

You have a bad ignition module.

I would suspect that you have a defective igntion switch, the igntion switch is what powers up all of the electrical system when you turn the key to run, the contacts can get burnt or the connector or both. The switch is under/behind the ignition key cylinder which operates the switch or course.

To obtain a service manual for the scooter you will need to contact the parts dept. of any dealership that sells these.
