seat lock yes, ignition lock if it fits in the hole ,you'll have to get a wiring diagram on line and match the wires by what they operate,if your really lucky wires run the same stuff and are the same color.
with electrics start at one point and eliminate each possible cause ie; is the kill switch corroded inside the switchgear due to water ingression, when did you last change the plugs.is your coil working correct.is there a loose/damaged connection in the ignition system wiring, a bad earth perhaps.is there dirt on your electronic ignition pick up or if you have points do they need cleaning/replacing condensers need replacment from time to time. you may have a damaged ecu if you have electronic ignition.. hope this helps
